Screenshots. Reviews. Fun until… This game is fun to start with. You learn strategy and start to win against other "people". People being the key word. Once you start getting to levels above 7 you begin to notice that some players have units much higher than they're level. For example, you will play someone who is level 8 with level 11 units. So you get decimated. That's fairly common. But the kicker is, often the other "Player" knows exactly how you are starting whether it be infantry or mechanized ground, or air. As soon as you start to build your forces, they already know what you are doing. I think often times I'm playing against a program that is trying to learn strategy. Plus the game is giving them an advantage knowing what you are building before a "human" could possibly know. It's shady. It's a fun game but to stay competitive you absolutely must spend money or wait for the challenge competitions. Good concept snd fun in the beginning. Then for some reason at level 9 I'm watched against level 13 players. How does that make sense? Frustrating after a few days. Unplayable. Too bad the fun doesn't last. Ruined a great franchise. Good units but crap gameplay. This game has a lot of Potential with great units and an interesting combat system but it does have problems. The fact that people can just sit in the back getting twice as many units as you and then steamroll your units and steal all your progress isn't right. It's not fun to lose (or win) because you're exploiting the games mechanics to crush everyone and spam certain units that aren't counterable. Maybe if there was a different system for charging the rocket or less of a unit boost when your losing it would be more balanced but for now I'm only giving two stars for the interesting unit types. Player ranking and enemy strength. If you battle anyone with a higher ranking your sure to lose and the strength of certain weapons like missiles need to be lowered. Your base can be wiped out with two hits from one the commanders missiles. Players are able to completely immobilize your base if they get a bunch of titans to sit in front of it. Every time you spawn something it gets destroyed and the game doesn't end until your opponent decides to end you or you close out the app. Very frustrating! Maliciously Designed to Encourage Micropayments. This is a fun game, admittedly. While it does not at all resemble a Classic command and Conquer game, it nevertheless is enjoyable to play. However, they have introduced new mechanics that are not present in the classic games in the series, such as unit levels, which are used to differentiate between players who have and have not purchased resources in the game. It is true that you can progress in the game without spending money, but the rate at which you progress through the game is faster than the rate at which one can realistically accumulate resources. The result is that after a few months, you will be stuck playing against significantly better-equipped opponents, and will not be able to continue enjoying the game without ridiculous strategies such as intentionally losing every game for a month straight. At this point, the game designers are intentionally inducing pain to encourage you to spend money to catch up. This is unethical and malicious, and ruins what could have been an otherwise very enjoyable experience. Would not recommend. You get priced out after time. Game makes it hard to play after a certain level unless you spend excess money. Very frustrating, avoid, nothing like original.
