It cannot destroy player-built tiles/buildings or any tiles that require Superhard digging proficiency (diamond, abyssalite, etc). The Robo-Miner cannot dig itself out when entombed. The Robo-Miner is rarely used to dig out new areas of the asteroid, but rather to automatically remove tiles that keep building up in the same area over and over again, e.g. Regolith from Meteors or in Shove Vole ranches, or Igneous Rock from Magma in boilers and volcano tamers. Due to significant heat production, some form of cooling is generally required. It is also recommended to build the robo-miner out of steel to increase the overheat temperature.
